INAICTA 2011 Enters Judging Phase

The series of activities of Indonesia Information and Communication Technology Award or INAICTA 2011 has entered a period of judging. Number of proposals / works that qualify for judging the first stage on Thursday (15/09/2011), a total of 758 works. The number of categories that are contested are as many as 28 categories, comprised of 16 professional categories and 12 categories of students.

The works are selected from a total of 1765 registrants registrars. The details are as follows, as many as 393 individual professional, as many as 212 professional groups, professional companies / institutions as much as 216, as many as 421 individual students and student groups as much as 523.

In the first stage of the judging process is done by selecting proposals digital works that have been submitted online. Later, the proposals will be selected which are appropriate to follow the judging phase II.

Judging Phase II will be held on 22 and 23 September 2011, on this occasion the race participants will be invited to present and defend their work before the grand jury INAICTA 2011.

At the peak of the event INAICTA, ie 4 to 5 October 2011, held at Jakarta Convention Center, other winners were announced, also will be held the largest exhibition of digital creative work in the country, world-class conference with speakers such as Ian Livingstone (creator Tom Rider), producer Squere Enix (publisher of Final Fantasy), Rovio (publisher Angry Bird), and there are speakers from government, among others, Minister of Communications and Informatics Tifatul Sembiring, Trade Minister Mari Elka Pangestu, and Coordinating Minister Hatta Rajasa, as well as of telecommunications and other industries.

Participants who wish to share experiences with practitioners and creators in the field of animation, games, and develop digital business side can participate in various workshops with speakers from Nokia, Microsoft, Square Enix, and others. In addition, in the event there will also top the national level Robotics competition which also made the event Pra International Robot Olympiad (IRO) to be held in Jakarta in December 2011.
