ITB Students Participate Competition in Germany

JAKARTA  - Sarah Ervinda, a student of Institut Teknologi Bandung, award-winning "The Best Project" will represent Indonesia in the Bayer Young Environmental Envoy (BYEE) 2011 in Germany.

Innovation and the effort she managed to put 11 finalists BYEE which followed students from various universities in Indonesia. Announcement and awarding the best projects in Indonesia BYEE held in Jakarta on Friday (16/09/2011).

Besides Sarah, the committee also chose Pradnyawati Made Dwi Ayu, a student of the Faculty of Medicine Udayana University, Denpasar, as the winner with Sarah. However, Dwi Pradnyawati elected not to follow the race BYEE international level. In recognition of their achievements, PT Bayer will facilitate Dwi Sarah and to study the facilities and environmental management practices in Germany and increase networking in the environmental field for a week along with winners from 12 other countries.

Sarah makes environmental project in the form of waste production bioreactor. The idea he practiced in the village of deer Pananjung, Garut, West Java.

While Ayu Made Dwi Pradnyawati introduce healthy organic foods and healthy lifestyles to elementary school students in Bali.

Bayer since eight years ago this innovation competition held regularly every year. The main winners were sent to Germany to follow the same race at the international level.
